About the software

What is Carousel Bot?

Spot grid trading software that runs on your own computer. You set the strategy and the software executes it 24/7. It's a tool — not a managed trading service — and it doesn't give investment advice.

Who makes it?

It's developed and maintained by the Carousel Bot team.

Which exchanges and coins are supported?

Pionex, Hyperliquid and OKX. Currently BTC spot trading against USDT/USDC.

Do I need to keep my computer on?

Yes. The software runs on your computer, so grids pause when it's off or asleep. The app prevents automatic sleep and resumes on its own after a restart. We recommend a computer that can stay on for long periods.

Which operating systems are supported?

macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows.

How many computers can I use?

One per account. To switch, log out on the old computer first. If the old computer no longer works, email us and we'll release it.

Is there a mobile app?

Not at the moment. Set up Telegram alerts to get fill and issue notifications on your phone.

Does the software update automatically?

Yes. New versions download and install automatically. Updates don't cancel your orders, and grids resume afterwards.

About your funds

Does the software touch my funds?

No. Your funds always stay in your own exchange account. The software only places orders through the API key you provide, which is stored encrypted on your computer and never uploaded to our servers.

What if my grid is short on funds?

The screen shows how much is missing. Once you deposit funds to your exchange account, missing orders are placed automatically — no need to reset the grid.

How do I withdraw funds from a grid?

Stop the grid in the app first (stopping cancels all of that grid's orders), withdraw what you need on the exchange, then start the grid again.

About security

Which API permissions should I enable?

Only "Read" and "Trade". Please do not enable "Withdraw".

Why doesn't Hyperliquid need my private key?

Hyperliquid uses agent wallet authorization. You approve an agent wallet on the Hyperliquid website that can only place orders, so your main wallet's private key is never needed. The authorization expires after a period of time, and the app and Telegram will remind you to renew it.

Where should I download from?

Only from this website. Installers from other sources may contain malware that steals your API keys. We never send installers via Telegram, Line or private messages.

About payment & subscriptions

Can I pay by card?

Currently we only accept USDT/USDC on Arbitrum One or TRON.

Will I be charged automatically?

No. The app reminds you 7, 3 and 1 day before expiry, and you decide whether to renew.

What happens to my orders when my subscription expires?

The software stops placing new orders but never cancels any of your existing orders on the exchange. Everything resumes automatically after you renew.

Can I get a refund?

All payments are non-refundable, including unused time and overpayments. Please download the app and look around before paying.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes, anytime.

What if I sent to the wrong network or address?

Blockchain transfers can't be reversed, so those funds can't be recovered. Always double-check the network and address before paying.

About trading

Will I definitely make money?

No. In a sustained downtrend a grid will hold positions at a loss, and crypto prices are highly volatile — you may lose some or all of your funds. Please read the Risk Disclosure first.
